With a passion for fitness and cross-training, Maddie has completed multiple certifications in various practices, all of which inform her approach to teaching.
She completed her 200 hour (RYT-200) Yoga Certification through School Yoga Institute in 2012 and has taught yoga at private studios and universities since then. Rooted in the Vinyasa style, Maddie’s classes focus on efficiently heating and opening the body, especially to prepare it for dance activities.

In 2017, Maddie completed her comprehensive Pilates mat certification at Pilates Plus in Rochester, NY, and later took a training course in effective reformer use for dancers at Evolution Pilates, also in Rochester. Maddie has taught Pilates at private fitness and dance studios, as well as in the School of Dance at FSU.
Also in 2017, she completed her corporate Pure Barre Certification and began teaching shortly thereafter at the Rochester studio. Upon relocating to Tallahassee, Maddie immediately joined the team at Pure Barre Tallahassee and she now continues to teach classes at Pure Barre South Tampa.
